Jakarta – The Doctoral Program held another closed dissertation defense on Thursday, May 7, 2026. This defense featured doctoral student Eko Agus Susanto who presented research on road transportation safety in Indonesia.

The dissertation with the theme of Road Safety, this research is in the concentration of Public Policy and focuses on the use of technology as a national road safety system. The closed session was held on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 11:00–12:00 WIB with a team of examiners consisting of academics and public policy experts. The session was led by Yolanda Masnita Siagian as the chief examiner. Meanwhile, the research promoter is Eleonora Sofilda and co-promoter Tri Kunawangsih P. The examiner members consist of Lavlimatria Esya and Muhammad Yudhi Lutfi. The minutes of the session were taken by Dr. Ajeng. In his research, Eko highlighted the importance of effective and sustainable road safety policies.

Through this dissertation defense, the research results are expected to provide academic contributions as well as policy recommendations for the government and stakeholders in developing a road safety system.
