Trisakti University’s Doctoral Program in Economics is a leading doctoral program established in 2000 and a pioneer among private universities in Indonesia. The program is committed to producing reliable, globally-minded graduates with strong leadership and integrity. With a vision to become an internationally recognized doctoral program rooted in local values, the program offers nine concentrations relevant to contemporary needs, including Sustainable Development Management, Islamic Economics and Finance, and Public Policy. The curriculum is rigorously structured and research-oriented, with 54 total credits designed to be completed in six semesters. Furthermore, the program’s facilities, experienced faculty, and international collaboration network enhance the quality of education.

Graduates of Trisakti University’s Doctoral Program in Economics have demonstrated significant contributions in various strategic sectors, both domestically and internationally, including ministries, financial institutions, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and academics at international universities. The Doctoral Program in Economics at Trisakti University, which was established by the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of National Education Number: 202/DIKTI/Kep/2000 dated June 23, 2000, initially only had one concentration, namely the concentration of Sustainable Development Management. Currently, the Doctoral Program has developed into several concentrations, including the Concentration in Sharia Economics & Finance established by the Decree of the Rector of Trisakti University Number: 195/USAKTI/SKR/VIII/2004 dated July 15, 2004, while the Concentration in Service Management was established by the Decree of the Rector of Trisakti University Number: 032/USAKTI/SKR/II/2006 dated February 23, 2006. Then several other concentrations developed, namely Accounting, Strategic, Finance, HR and Marketing, and Public Policy. There are currently nine concentrations in total.
