KH Dr. Marsudi Syuhud, M.M., born in Jogosimo Village, Klirong District, Kebumen Regency, on February 7, 1964, is a cleric and national figure who currently serves as Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI). He is the founder and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Islamic Boarding School Cooperative (Inkopontren), who contributed significantly to the development of Islamic boarding school cooperatives, earning him the “Main Cooperative Driving Figure” award from Dekopin—a recognition of his strategic role in expanding Inkopontren’s reach internationally. In higher education, Dr. Marsudi Syuhud completed his doctoral program in Economics with a concentration in Islamic Economics and Finance from Trisakti University in 2014, and is also active in fostering Islamic financial institutions such as the Islamic Economic Community (MES) and the Indonesian Muslim Traders Association (ISMI). Furthermore, as a cleric and public figure, he consistently advocates for peace, strengthening tolerance, and the well-being of the entire nation during various national and election moments.
